Just a quick update.

I now have an etsy shop. Currently selling hand-linked themed charm bracelets (Halloween, vampires, faeries, mermaids, Day of the Dead...) plus a few other quirky jewellery bits and mixed-media/altered art. Coming soon will be handmade masks, headdresses, fantasy horns, fascinators and various hair accessories.

Next week I'm photographing a wedding which I'm both nervous and excited about. Got a lot of ideas for photography projects and also going to learn how to use the movie mode on my camera as I have video ideas too. Think dark and creepy.

Well. It has been months since my last  update. Have just created a new facebook page for my photography and also art/crafts (which will make an appearance soon). I prefer the layout and easiness of facebook, so I end up neglecting blogspot and flickr. Sigh.


So, please go and visit then like my facebook page. If/when I have 100 likes, I will hold some sort of competition/give away so tell your friends and family too!

This is what I want to do. Creative portrait. I love everything about it. I have quite a few photoshoots planned so expect to see more over the coming months.

It has been glorious. Sunny. Warm. It makes everything feel better.

I just cheated by updating with about six weeks worth of photos, all in one go. Oops. To see them, just keep on scrolling. At least I made separate posts for them right? Right. Moving on...

If anyone who arrives here wishes to use any of my photos for anything online, feel free, just let me know where they are being used please and if possible link to this blog!

To be honest, I am a bit (a lot) behind with my schedule. By March 2012, I wanted to be doing creative portraits for people. Before I can do this, I need to sort some lighting out. Maybe a flash. I have vouchers but not entirely sure how best to spend them yet. Want versus need. Want macro lens, need lighting! 

Also a bit concerned about location. Sometimes these will need to be done indoors, especially when involving body paint and whatnot. And at the moment, the only location I have available is... well, a corner of my living room. Not very professional. Would people mind coming to my home for their portraits, providing the end results made them happy? Eh, this is something to think about I suppose. I think too much as it is, though. Ahhh!

Last week I went to the beach. You know, that excited optimism when you see the first rays of golden sunshine in many months. Turns out that it was bloody freezing. But ho-hum, a good time was had.
