Just a quick update.

I now have an etsy shop. Currently selling hand-linked themed charm bracelets (Halloween, vampires, faeries, mermaids, Day of the Dead...) plus a few other quirky jewellery bits and mixed-media/altered art. Coming soon will be handmade masks, headdresses, fantasy horns, fascinators and various hair accessories.

Next week I'm photographing a wedding which I'm both nervous and excited about. Got a lot of ideas for photography projects and also going to learn how to use the movie mode on my camera as I have video ideas too. Think dark and creepy.

Well. It has been months since my last  update. Have just created a new facebook page for my photography and also art/crafts (which will make an appearance soon). I prefer the layout and easiness of facebook, so I end up neglecting blogspot and flickr. Sigh.


So, please go and visit then like my facebook page. If/when I have 100 likes, I will hold some sort of competition/give away so tell your friends and family too!

It had been a while since I did a self portraity thing. So I did a Valentine's Day special...

The weekend shall be busy and fun. A lot of photo opportunities will be had between now and Monday.

Last night I couldn't sleep for worrying about over-sleeping. As a result, I was still awake at 7am. Ridiculous, I am.

Yesterday I had the intention of taking some cool photos of a self-portrait idea I had. However, I dithered about all day and so missed the best light. Then I couldn't achieve the focus or composition I wanted (these things are really difficult when you are in front of the camera!), so I became frustrated and gave up in under twenty shots. One day, I will find volunteers and hey presto, my woes shall be gone (scouring ModelMayhem.com is one solution, but I always end up just looking at people I find attractive... how unprofessional).
