So, this blog has been viewed 500 times. I'm not sure who is looking. Maybe it is the same person looking over and over again, in which case, thank you for your enthusiasm, whoever you are.

On Friday I went to my friend's house for an evening of musicians, turtles, a giant bunny, an impressive feast and not forgetting the rat with canary wings who wears a wedding dress. It's not every day that you get to experience live music in a living room, it was fun.

In other news, another friend of mine has just fostered a hedgehog. After seeing the photos, I now officially have hedgehog envy. Hoping to go round and give it a jolly good cuddling sometime soon. Can you cuddle hedgehogs? I suppose you can only try... while wearing gloves.

The Joker & The Thief:

Arnie, the rabbit the size of a small child. How can you not fall in love with this face? He has the most squeezable cheeks ever:

I have neglected my camera a bit lately. This is to change very soonly. In the mean time, here are a few that I took of Sarah Millican at The Cliff's Pavillion last week. I'd forgotten all about this lens and its wonderful zoominess (55-250 'cause you're dying to know I can tell).

After this weekend, I wanted to sleep all day today. Disappointed I didn't even make it to 1pm, though. Had a peculiar dream. There was a beach and wolves kept coming out of the sea. They were black and aggressive and would chase any people around on the sand. Then I was at a friends party and the wolves were in the garden. I was knowingly offering to paint people's faces with poisonous paint. I kept telling lies and there was a rumour going round that I'd get naked for anyone.

You know, last night, after arriving home from a journey involving six trains, I discovered a snickers bar in my bag that my friend had turned down at 6am that morning. In that moment, I couldn't have found a better thing anywhere. Forget the secrets of the universe or a briefcase containing one million pounds, that snickers bar was bloody amazing.

Can you believe that it will be 2012 soon? That's just odd. And it's only November and I miss summer already.

Here, watch this:

Watermarks. I have been thinking about these. Should I start using one? Maybe. Something stops me, though. For a start, it feels pretentious, considering that photography is a passion of mine as opposed to a profession. Are watermarks just for professionals? Some day I hope it ends up a profession though, so the exposure of a watermark would be handy. Perhaps I shall create one and see how it goes.

Here, have some old photos of cakes and cafés, just because.

Earlier on, my friend fixed my vacuum cleaner. And I have never seen someone so excited. I've a good mind to vandalise it just so she gets to repeat the operation.

Oh oh, if you haven't tried Chocka Block peanut butter nutter ice cream, then you must. Best eaten straight from the tub while wearing nothing but underwear, obviously.

Last night I had the pleasure of sitting for two hours and watching Billy Connolly tell stories, play banjo and do silly walks. I feel genuine warmth for that man and he is probably the only famous person that I would act like an annoying fangirl around if we were to meet. Knowing that I had snagged the last pair or tickets made it all the more enjoyable. Wasn't going to take my camera but did. The pictures are a bit rubbish what with my distance and height from the stage, but it was an awesome time. Very surreal watching Billy Connolly watching the famous 'incontinence pants' sketch on a projector.

I missed an opportunity today. Saw it, right there, the moment. Felt the pull and the pang. And then walked away.

We shouldn't pass up the opportunity to do something or know someone. But we all do it, right, yeah, we all do it.

Sillyyyyyy me.

Nobody knows this, but I like to lay in darkness, aside from a colour changing light, and listen to 90s dance music.

What do you like to do?

Oh dear. Today, for reasons best known to myself, I have listened to Cradle of Filth from the moment I awoke and still am now. Also, I ate a whole jar of pickled ginger. Not sure which is the culprit, but am feeling a bit odd.

Halloween was very fun this year. Zombies, fireworks and music. I want to start backcombing my hair, painting my face and wearing fairy wings all year round.

The cats are having a terrible fight on top of a book case. I told them that violence is not the answer but they did not listen. Speaking of which, I am destined to continue on the path to becoming a fully-fledged crazy cat lady*, I think. For example, the other night while out, someone held onto me, put their face three centimetres away from mine and said "I am here to find a girlfriend". Good gods, is this the method people are using now?

*"single women who own cats have long been associated with the concept of spinsterhood. In more recent decades, the concept of a cat lady has been associated with "romance-challenged (often career-oriented) women who can't find a man".
The term is also used to denote an animal hoarder who keeps large numbers of cats without having the ability to properly house or care for them. They are generally blissfully ignorant about their situation."

Okey dokey, here is evidence of the weekend. Brace yourself, there is a lot (all in colour, too!)
